Jesus Casas registers candidacy for EPISD School Board Trustee

Local Certified Public Accountant Jesus Casas has registered his candidacy for the Eagle Pass Independent School District (EPISD) Board of Trustees Place Six on Wednesday, August 15, 2012. Casas is challenging current Place Six incumbent Trustee and local attorney David Riojas, who earlier registered his candidacy for re-election. Casas stated his focus is the best interests of local school children and the proper administration of the school district’s financial resources. This is Casas first candidacy for public office. The EPISD Board of Trustees election will be held on November 6, 2012.
