County Commissioner Rudy Heredia denied bond second time

Maverick County Commissioner Rodolfo “Rudy” Bainet Heredia appeared for a preliminary and detention hearings today, Friday, February 8, 2013, before United States Magistrate Judge Collis White of the United States District Court for the Western District Court, Del Rio Division, in Del Rio, Texas and was denied bond on the new federal charges of bribery as well as a Motion for Reconsideration in the original money laundering case was denied as well.
County Commissioner Rudy Heredia will remain detained at the Val Verde County Detention Center-GEO in Del Rio pending the completion and outcome of his two federal criminal cases.
This is the second time that County Commissioner Rudy Heredia has been denied bond in federal court.
