Bat(man) returns to Eagle Pass High School on Friday, January 17th

The Eagle Pass Business Journal received telephone calls from concerned parents of Eagle Pass High School students who informed their parents that the bat infestation at school worsened on Friday, January 17, 2013, as the bats returned and began flying inside all over the school, scaring students, teachers, staff, and guests.
According to one parent, the students have many videos from their cell phones depicting the flying bats causing chaos with the students, teachers, janitors, security police officers, staff, and guests. The Eagle Pass Business Journal will attempt to obtain one or more of these student videos.
The unhealthy bat infestation at Eagle Pass High School in Eagle Pass, Texas manifested itself on Monday, January 13th, causing the Eagle Pass Independent School District to cancel and suspend classes to bring in professional exterminators to remedy the bat contamination problem. Classes resumed on Tuesday, January 14th, at Eagle Pass High School and students have reported bats flying inside the school throughout the week but in smaller numbers until this morning, Friday, January 17th, with a large number of them flying inside the school cafeteria, classrooms, and general areas. As of posting this article, classes were still being held at Eagle Pass High School on Friday, January 17th, during mid-afternoon. Batman returns to Eagle Pass High School. Stay tuned.
