Eagle Passan Gabriel Gutierrez wins Gold Medal at IFAF World Championship Under 19

Eagle Passan Gabriel Gutierrez, a sophomore at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York and a 2013 graduate of C. C. Winn High School, won a Gold Medal at the 2014 International Federation of American Football (IFAF) Under-19 World Championship as the United States Under-19 National Team defeated Canada 40-17 on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at Al-Nasr Stadium in Kuwait City, Kuwait.
Gutierrez is an offensive lineman for the United States Under-19 National Football Team. He was one of 45 players of Team USA Under-19 National Team which participated in the 2014 IFAF World Championship in Kuwait.
Team USA rallied from a 14-12 deficit at halftime scoring on four consecutive second-half possessions to earn the 40-17 victory over the potent Canadian team. Team USA Quarterback Bryan Scott of Rolling Hills, California and an Occidental College football player threw four touchdown passes enroute to being named the team’s Most Valuable Player. Scott completed 7 of 9 passes for 187 yards for four touchdowns.
Gutierrez is 6 feet 4 inches and weighs 285 pounds and is a rising offensive lineman with the Marist College Red Foxes of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
Gutierrez lettered four years in football with the C. C. Winn Mavericks, earning All-District First Team honors his senior year as an offensive lineman. He also lettered two years in track and field at C. C. Winn High School.
