A foreign driver of a Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck failure to make a stop sign caused the truck to strike a Chevrolet Tahoe and causing the Tahoe to roll over at the intersection of Bryan and Adolfo Streets in Eagle Pass, Texas at approximately 4:45 P.M. on Monday, October 20, 2014, injuring the driver of the Tahoe which had to be transported by the Eagle Pass Fire Department EMS to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center.
The Eagle Pass Police Department is investigating the two vehicle auto accident. Lieutenant Aldo Escamilla stated that the preliminary investigation shows a foreign driver of a Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck with the State of Coahuila license plates failed to make a stop at the Bryan and Adolphus Streets intersection stop sign striking the Chevrolet Tahoe which was traveling west to east and causing it to roll over.
The Mexican-licensed driver appears not to have sustained serious injuries while the Tahoe driver sustained injuries requiring that they be transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Lieutenant Escamilla warned all motorists to obey all traffic signs and laws while operating a motor vehicle in the City of Eagle Pass to avoid similar accidents and injuries from happening.
