Fourth Annual Christmas on Main Street to be held Thursday, December 18th

City of Eagle Pass Main Street Program Director Joe Cruz announced that the Fourth Annual Christmas on Main Street will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2014, from 5:30 P.M. to 9:30 P.M. at the Eagle Pass Public Library and the historic Maverick County Courthouse with a visit from Santa Claus, Christmas Caroling, activities and games for children, music, dancing, hot chocolate and pastries, and fun for the whole family.
The Christmas on Main Street celebration is a family-oriented event whose purpose is to bring the Christmas spirit to the community while highlighting the many businesses and activities available in downtown Eagle Pass. Admission is free and open to the public.
The City of Eagle Pass and the Eagle Pass Independent School District sponsor the Christmas on Main Street program and invite the public to attend this year’s event on December 18th which features many local school groups, dance groups, musical groups, choral groups, Santa Claus’ visit, and much more.
“The public is invited and encouraged to attend and enjoy the Fourth Annual Christmas on Main Street on Thursday, December 18th, from 5:30 P.M. to 9:30 P.M. at the steps of the Eagle Pass Public Library and the historic Maverick County Courthouse for an evening of Christmas cheer and spirit including many local choral and music groups,” said Cruz.
