Aldo Escamilla Announces Candidacy for Maverick County Constable of Precinct 3-AB
Greetings, I am officially announcing my candidacy for Maverick County Constable Precinct 3-AB in the Maverick County Democratic Party Primary on March 1, 2016 and Early Voting Period during February 16-26, 2016. I am a 20 year law enforcement veteran. Throughout these 20 years, I have been fortunate enough to have accumulated a vast amount of experience and obtained many certifications in what is a very diverse profession. Certifications such as Master Peace Officers License, Hostage Negotiator, Police Instructor, and Field Training Officer just to name a few. Currently, I am employed by the Eagle Pass Police Department as a Lieutenant supervising the Criminal Investigative Division. During my tenure with the Eagle Pass Police Department, I have worked as a Patrol Sergeant supervising 10 patrol Officers and responding to the community’s needs, have been attached to a the DEA Federal Task Force where I have not only conducted lengthy and complex narcotic investigations, have also become familiar with federal laws, procedures, and federal grants. The last four years of my career, I have served as part of the administrative staff within the Eagle Pass Police Department, a task which has allowed me to take part with the daily operations of the Police Department, which includes participating in the preparation of the department’s annual budget, Federal and State grant writing, and the administration of such grants. These experiences have allowed me to develop the essential skills required for the successful management of a Constable’s Office.
As a career law enforcement officer, I am fully aware that a constable’s office is capable of accomplishing more than what it is currently known for. I have a vision of how a Constable’s office should operate. A vision I am honored to share with you. If elected, I plan to take the Constable’s Office and enhance its scope of operation by applying for federal funding. This funding would be used to implement and reinforce law enforcement presence within Precinct 3-AB. By reinforcing this presence, the residents of Precinct 3-AB would receive quality Police service, this would also create an impact by deterring crime, making Precinct 3-AB a safer place to live. If elected, I will be a hands on Constable with high visibility by patrolling the precinct and addressing the community’s needs. I will have an open door policy which will allow the residents to speak with me about their concerns.
I am respectfully asking for you to give me your support and vote to allow me the opportunity to show you what a Constable’s Office is capable of producing. Vote for Aldo G. Escamilla for Constable of Precinct 3-AB, New Leadership for a Safer Community, this Early Voting Period during February 16-26, 2016 at the Eagle Pass Multi-Purpose Center located at 480 South Adams Street in Eagle Pass, Texas as well as on Election Day, Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at your Precinct 3-AB Polling Place.
