This training is designed for all Law Enforcement Peace Officers and will focus on the legal issues of stopping vehicles, as well as the legal requirements and limits on the officer’s ability to search. Topics will include: drug detection dog at the scene; consent to search, searching a vehicle incident to arrest, searching a vehicle with probable cause, and searching the occupants of a vehicle within the law.
