Eagle Pass C.C. Winn Mavericks and District 29-5A Bi-District Football Championship Pairings

The 2016 Texas University Interscholastic League (UIL) State Football Playoffs are upon us this week with the start of the first round known as the Bi-District Championship.
With Eagle Pass C. C. Winn High School Mavericks and Floresville High School Tigers finishing as District 29-5A Co-Champions, the Uvalde High School Coyotes qualified for the playoffs as the third place team and the San Antonio Southside High School Cardinals as the fourth place team.
The Eagle Pass C. C. Winn Mavericks (8-2) will face the Corpus Christi Carroll Tigers (5-5) for Bi-District 5A, Division I on Friday, November 11, 2016, at 7:30 P.M. At Converse-Judson ISD D. W. Rutledge Stadium in the San Antonio, Texas Metropolitan Area. Tickets for the Mavericks first-ever school playoff appearance are on sale at the Eagle Pass Independent School District Athletics Office, located at the EPISD Student Activity Center, during Monday-Friday, November 7-11, 2016, at $8 for Adults and $4 for students. Get your tickets early. The entire Maverick County community should support the Mavericks to victory in their first playoff berth, including the mighty Eagle Nation aficionados and students.
The Floresville Tigers (5-5) will battle the Corpus Christi King Mustangs (6-4) in Bi-District 5A, Division II on Friday, November 11th, 7:30 P.M. At Corpus Christi ISD Buccaneer Stadium in Corpus Christi, Texas.
The Uvalde Coyotes (7-3) face the Corpus Christi Calallen Wildcats (9-1) in Bi-District 5A, Division II on Friday, November 11th at 7:30 P.M. At San Antonio Northeast ISD Comalander Stadium in San Antonio, Texas.
The San Antonio Southside Cardinals (5-5) battle the Corpus Christi Fluor Bluff Hornets (5-5) in Bi-District 5A, Division I on Friday, November 11th at 7:30 P.M. At Fluor Bluff, Texas.
