Eagle Pass C. C. Winn Mavericks face Corpus Christi Carroll Tigers in Bi-District Championship on November 11th at D.W. Rutledge Stadium

The thundering Eagle Pass C. C. Winn High School Mavericks will face the Corpus Christi Carroll Tigers in the school’s first post-season playoff appearance for the Bi-District Championship on Friday, November 11, 2016, at 7:30 P.M. at the Converse-Judson Independent School District D. W. Rutledge Stadium, announced Mavericks Head Football Coach Eric Villasenor.
The C. C. Winn Mavericks finished the 2016 District 29-5A football standings as District Co-Champions together with the Floresville High School Tigers, who defeated the San Antonio Southside Cardinals 31-17 on Friday, November 4th.
The C. C. Winn Mavericks earned their District 29-5A Co-Championship by virtue of their decisive victory against the Uvalde High School Coyotes 31-0 on Thursday, November 3, 2016, at the Eagle Pass Independent School District Cozel Foster-Veterans Memorial Stadium before an enthusiastic Homecoming crowd.
Tickets for the Mavericks Bi-District Championship Game against the Corpus Christi Carroll Tigers on Friday, November 14, 2016 will go on sale this Monday, November 7th, at the Eagle Pass Independent School District Athletics Office for $8 for adults and $4 for students or at the D. W. Rutledge Stadium on game day. Get your Mavericks playoff tickets now at the EPISD Athletics Office. The Mavericks will be the visiting team for the playoff game while the Corpus Christi Carroll Tigers have been designated the Home team.
All Maverick County football aficionados are encouraged to attend and support the thundering Mavericks to victory against the Corpus Christi Carroll Tigers on Friday, November 11th, including Eagle Pass High School Eagles students and parents.
