Eagle Pass DEA Office to Host Safe Disposal of Unused and Expired Medications on April 29th

The United States Drug and Enforcement Agency (DEA) will host a safe disposal of unused and/or expired prescription medications in Eagle Pass, Texas on Saturday, April 29, 2017, at the Tractor Supply Company, located at 2116 Town Square Boulevard, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
All Maverick Countians are encouraged to bring in all of their unused and/or expired prescription medications to the Safe Disposal Event on April 29th sponsored by the Eagle Pass DEA Office.
The purpose of the Safe Disposal Event is to allow citizens a safe and proper disposal mechanism of their unused and/or expired prescription medications in order to prevent their intentional and/or unintentional abuse of these medications by children, elderly, or adults.
The DEA is joined in the Safe Disposal Event by local law enforcement agencies, including the Eagle Pass Police Department, Maverick County Sheriff’s Department, 293rd Judicial District Attorney’s Office, and the Quad Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse.
