2017 Eagle Pass High School Eagles Football Season Schedule Unveiled

Eagle Pass High School Eagles Head Football Coach Tom Gonzalez unveiled the Eagles 2017 football schedule.
Coach Tom Gonzalez and staff will commence practicing with their returning and new Eagles football players on Monday, August 7, 2017, seeking to improve during the 2017 season.
The Eagle Pass Eagles will open the 2017 Football Season with a pair of scrimmages, including one on Friday, August 18, 2017, against the Somerset High School Bulldogs at 7 P.M. at Somerset, Texas and another on Thursday, August 24, 2017, against the Laredo Martin High School Tigers at 7 P.M. at Laredo ISD Shirley Field in Laredo, Texas.
The mighty Eagles officially kick-off their 2017 football season on Friday, September 1st, against the Medina Valley High School Panthers in a non-district game at 7:30 P.M. at Castroville, Texas.
On Friday, September 8th, the Eagles host the Laredo Cigarroa High School Toros in a non-district game at 7:30 P.M. at Eagle Pass Independent School District (EPISD) Cozel Foster-Veterans Memorial Stadium. This game has been designated as Parents Night for the Eagles.
On Friday, September 15th, the Eagles battle cross-town rival C. C. Winn High School Mavericks at 7:30 P.M. at EPISD Cozel Foster-Veterans Memorial Stadium in the 12th Annual fictional City Championship and Menudo Bowl. The Eagles are designated as the Home Team in this non-district game.
On Friday, September 22nd, the Eagles open District 29-6A action against the Laredo Alexander High School Bulldogs at 7:30 P.M. at EPISD Cozel Foster-Veterans Memorial Stadium.
On Thursday, September 28th, the Eagles travel to the Gateway City of Laredo, Texas to face the Laredo LBJ High School Wolves in a key District 29-6A game at 7:00 P.M. at Laredo United ISD Student Activity Complex.
The Eagles will enjoy a bye-week, also known as open week, during October 2-6, 2017 before continuing their District 29-6A schedule.
On Friday, October 13th, the Eagles will clash with the San Antonio South San High School Bobcats in a pivotal District 29-6A game at 7:30 P.M. at EPISD Cozel Foster-Veterans Memorial Stadium.
On Thursday, October 19th, the Eagles tangle with the Laredo United South High School Panthers in a salient District 29-6A game at 7:00 P.M. at Laredo United ISD Student Activity Complex in Laredo, Texas.
On Friday, October 27th, the Eagles host the perennially tough Laredo United High School Longhorns in a key District 29-6A game at 7:30 P.M. at EPISD Cozel Foster-Veterans Memorial Stadium during Homecoming festivities.
On Thursday, November 2nd, the Eagles battle the San Antonio Southwest High School Dragons in a pivotal District 29-6A game at 7:30 P.M. at EPISD Cozel Foster-Veterans Memorial Stadium.
On Friday, November 10th, the Eagles close the 2017 regular season against arch-rival Del Rio High School Rams in an important District 29-6A game at 7:30 P.M. at Del Rio, Texas.
All Eagle Pass Eagles Nation football aficionados are encouraged to purchase their 2017 season tickets at the Eagle Pass Independent School District Athletics Department Office located at the EPISD Student Activity Center.
