Maverick County 12 Year Old Boy Allegedly Sexually Assaulted

The Maverick County Sheriff’s Department reported receiving a criminal complaint on Sunday, August 13, 2017, from the parents of a 12 year old boy that had been sexually assaulted by an adult male person in Seco Mines, Eagle Pass, Texas.
The 12 year old boy was transported to a San Antonio, Texas medical facility to undergo a sexual assault examination.
An Eagle Pass adult male is suspected of allegedly sexually assaulting the 12 year old boy.
According to the Maverick County Sheriff’s Department, the alleged suspect in the investigation voluntarily turned himself in to law enforcement authorities. Detectives interviewed the alleged suspect and took a DNA specimens for further evidence testing. The alleged suspect was not arrested at this moment and was allowed to return home.
This delicate investigation and case remains under investigation by the Maverick County Sheriff’s Department Detectives Division.
