Eagle Pass Entreprenuers Learn How to Do Business With Federal Government at Local Seminar

Approximately 30-40 Eagle Pass, Texas entrepreneurs learned how to do business with the United States government at a “Federal Government Procurement” Seminar held on Thursday, September 28, 2017, at the Eagle Pass International Center for Trade sponsored by the City of Eagle Pass Business and Economic Development Committee’s Governmental Relations Sub-Committee, announced Cecilia Mascorro, Chairperson of the BEDC Governmental Relations Sub-Committee.
Seminar participants learned about the multi-billion dollar federal government procurement business available to American businesses, how to register as a Government Service Administration (GSA) vendor, how to bid federal government procurement opportunities, and how to get paid after winning a federal procurement contract.
Eagle Pass Mayor Ramsey English Cantu welcomed the seminar participants and encouraged them to seek federal government procurement contracts as a method to increase their businesses and profits. Mayor Cantu told participants that the City of Eagle Pass supports all local businesses in their quest for growth and development of their businesses.
Albert Garza of the San Antonio, Texas Government Service Administration (GSA) was the keynote presenter at the “Federal Government Procurement” Seminar.
The “Federal Government Procurement” Seminar was organized by BEDC Governmental Relations Committee, Cecilia Mascorro, Chairperson, Janice Gonzalez, Ernie Gonzalez, Morris Libson, and the City of Eagle Pass.
