Pablo Garcia, Jr. and Laura Curi Named 2017 Eagle Pass Winn High School Homecoming King and Queen

The Eagle Pass C.C. Winn High School students voted on their 2017 Homecoming King and Queen and they elected Pablo Garcia, Jr. and Laura Curi representing Student Council as their Homecoming King and Queen as announced at halftime of the Winn Mavericks football game against the San Antonio Southside Cardinals.
The Winn students also elected to the 2017 Homecoming Royal Court Antonio Flores and Sofia Gonzalez representing Football as Prince and Princess, Isaias Gonzalez and Latrisha Longoria representing the Spanish Club as Duke and Duchess, Juan Castilla and Silvy Salazar representing Basketball as Count and Countess, and Matthew Uriegas II and Christina Gloria representing the Maverick Band as Lord and Lady.
Also participating in the 2017 Homecoming King and Queen contest were Citlali Rios and Diego Jimenez representing Cheer, Krystal Vasquez and Joseph Villarreal representing Silverline Dance Team, Gladys Contreras and Alan Gonzalez representing National Honor Society, Andrea Hernandez and Damian Perez representing Media Tech, and Janine Salas and Brando Gutierrez representing Cosmetology.
The 2017 Homecoming Class representatives were Alexandra Castillon and Elvis Morales representing the Senior Class, Luzero Ortega and Elian Montemayor representing the Junior Class, Theodet Segura and Emilio Patino representing the Sophomore Class, and Andrea Casas and Aaron Alvarez representing the Freshmen Class.
The 2016 Homecoming King and Queen Marcus Palacios and Marychelo Flores attended the 2017 Homecoming Coronation ceremony at halftime of the Mavericks versus Southside Cardinals football game.
In the Battle of the Classes during Homecoming Spirit Week, the Seniors won first place, the Juniors won second place, the Freshmen won third place, and the Sophomores won fourth place.
The 2017 Homecoming Committee was composed of Alexis Gomez, Daisy Leija, Stephany Oviedo, Yesenia Velez, Lia Lopez, and Angela Garza.
