Lamb and Goat Muy Grande Prospect Show to be held Saturday, November 18th

The Maverick County Junior Livestock Show Association announced the 2017 Lamb and Goat Muy Grande Prospect Show will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2017, at the Zan Mathies Showbarn, 2350 East Main Street (Maverick County Lake), Eagle Pass, Texas, during 7 A.M. through 5 P.M.
All Maverick County and surrounding counties lamb and goat exhibitors are invited to participate in the 2017 Lamb and Goat Muy Grande Prospect Show on Saturday, November 18th. The Grand Champions will be awarded $250, buckles will be awarded to grand and reserve champions, prizes for division and breeds, and ribbons presented to all participants.
All goats, including weathers and does, are eligible. Lambs eligible include five breeds-medium wool, fine wool, crosses, dorpers, and southdowns. Entry fee per animal is $20.
The 2017 Lamb and Goat Muy Grande Prospect Show commences on Saturday, November 18th, at 7 A.M.-9 A.M. with the weighing of the animals, followed by the Lamb Showmanship at 9:30 A.M., and followed by the lamb prospect show, the goat prospect show, and the goat showmanship until the last animal is judged and the grand and reserve champions are announced in each breed and overall.
