Eagle Pass City Council Special Election To Be Held Saturday, December 16th; December 12th Last Day To Vote Early Voting

The City of Eagle Pass, Texas Special City Council Election for City Council Place 1 to fill the unexpired term of City Councilwoman Gloria E. Hernandez, who resigned to run for Maverick County Judge, will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 7 A.M. to 7 P.M. at the Multi-Purpose Center, located at 480 South Adams Street in Fort Duncan Park in Eagle Pass, Texas. All registered Eagle Pass, Texas voters are encouraged to exercise their right to vote in this Special City Council Place 1 Election on Saturday, December 16th.
In addition, Eagle Pass registered voters have one final day of Early Voting available to them to go vote on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. at the Multi-Purpose Center.
Three candidates are vying for the Eagle Pass City Council Place 1 position, including local businessman and former public school teacher William “Billy” Davis, Eagle Pass U.S. Postmaster Ernesto Saucedo, and local real estate broker and contractor Romeo Fernandez. Vote for the candidate of your choice.
After the December 16, 2017 Special Election, the Eagle Pass City Council will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 5:30 P.M. to officially canvass and approve the final election results as well as administer the oath of office to the election winner.
