Maverick County Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy Roberto De Leon reported that three Eagle Pass Police Department vehicles were slammed by a 1996 Ford Pick Up Truck while doing a traffic stop of another vehicle on Bibb Avenue on Friday, January 19, 2018, at approximately 2:15 A.M., damaging the three police vehicles and injuring one Eagle Pass Police Officer.
The driver of the 1996 Ford Pick Up Truck that struck the three Eagle Pass Police Department vehicles was identified as Pedro Talamantes, III, who was arrested and charged for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI).
