Eagle Pass City Council to Tackle Water Impact Fees, Increase of Water Subscription Fee from $188 to $300, Public Information Officer, Natural Gas Franchise, and 2017 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report at March 20th Meeting

The City of Eagle Pass, Texas City Council will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at 5 P.M. at City Council Chambers, located at 100 South Monroe Street, Eagle Pass, Texas 78852, tackling several important issues including a Public Hearing to consider the adoption of a water impact fee within the City of Eagle Pass corporate boundaries and extraterritorial jurisdiction (in other words, more City water fees), the approval of an Ordinance to increase the water Righs subscription fees from $188 to $300 (a $112 increase), amending Ordinance that provides guidelines and criteria for granting tax abatements, an Ordinance amending City Budget to change several jobs and add a new Public Information Officer, final and second reading of an Ordinance granting City’s Natural Gas Franchise to Texas State Natral Gas Company, Inc., approve amending Ordinance to update City Water Conservation Plan and the Drought Contingency Plan, approve the City’s 2016-2017 Comprehensive Annual Financial Budget, and many other key issues.
The Eagle Pass City Council meeting of Tuesday, March 20th, at 5 P.M. is open to the public and taxpayers.
