Eagle Pass Attorney Gerald Abrams Run Over by Pick-Up Truck

Eagle Pass attorney Gerald Abrams was run over by a Ford Pick-Up truck while a pedestrian at the intersection of Main and Bibb Streets in Eagle Pass, Texas on Sunday, January 7, 2019, at approximately 6:55 P.M..

Abrams was seriously injured in the accident and was transported by the Eagle Pass Fire Department EMS Ambulance to Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center in Eagle Pass.  Due to his serious injuries, Abrams was transported to a medical center in San Antonio, Texas to undergo surgery for his injuries.

The driver of the Ford Pick-Up truck stayed at the scene of the accident and waited for local law enforcement and first responders to arrive at the scene. 

The driver was turned over by the Eagle Pass Police Department to the Texas Department of Public Safety for investigation of the accident.
