Eagle Pass Man Arrested and Charged With Aggravated Assault With A Deadly Weapon
Friday, February 15, 2019, 7:54 PM: Eagle Pass Police Officers responded to a residence located within the 500 block of Commercial Street in regards to a stabbing incident.
Officers encountered a male subject who had been stabbed in the abdomen by a male subject who was identified by the victim as 22 year old Julio Cesar Saucedo. Prior to the arrival of officers, Saucedo had fled the residence at which point a lookout was placed with local units and agencies. During the search of the area, Saucedo was located by a Patrol Sargent in a 2001 blue Ford F150 parked within the 200 block of Washington Street. Saucedo was taken into custody and later presented before a magistrate where he was formally charged with a second-degree felony of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and remanded to the Tom Bowles Detention Center in lieu of a $10,000.00 bond.
The victim was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for treatment of his wound and his condition was stable at the time he was transported.
This case remains under investigation by Eagle Pass Police Department.
