Eagle Pass Police Department Crime Report
Saturday, March 23, 2019, 7:22 PM: Eagle Pass Police Officers responded to a restaurant within the 400 block of South Bibb Street in reference to a possible wanted person. Officers arrived and spoke with an off duty federal officer who directed them to a male subject identified as 33-year-old Eric Arroyo. A computer inquiry of Arroyo’s personal data revealed an active federal warrant from the U.S. Marshall Service. Arroyo was taken into custody and later remanded to the Tom Bowles Detention Center in lieu of no bond.
Sunday, March 24, 2018, 2:35 PM: Officers responded to a business within the 400 block of South Texas Drive in reference to an unwanted person. Officers arrived and spoke with the owner of the business who directed them to a female who was no longer wanted at the establishment. The female refused to properly identify herself to officers and was further found to be intoxicated. The female was placed under arrest and later properly identified via a Texas driver’s license as 28-year-old Edith Valdez. Valdez was later released from custody after receiving a Municipal Court Citation for failure to identify.
Between March 23 and March 24, 2019, the following individuals were arrested and formally charged with driving while intoxicated:
Manuel Alvarez Olivo 51 years of age
Juan Eduardo Carrizales 32 years of age
Juan Gilberto De La Garza 23 years of age
All three individuals were presented before a magistrate and remanded to the Tom Bowles Detention Center in lieu of individual bonds.
