Former Eagle Passan, U.S. Army Veteran and Retired CPA Roberto Trevino passes away

Many Eagle Passans are deeply saddened by the news of former native Eagle Passan, United States Army Veteran, and CPA Roberto Trevino’s (age 72) passing away on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas.
Roberto Trevino was born on September 25, 1947 in Eagle Pass, Texas to Jose Maria Trevino, Jr. and Francisca Ramirez de Trevino. He graduated from Eagle Pass High School in 1966. Trevino served in the United States Army 101st Airborne Division in the Vietnam War during 1968-1969. He attended college and earned a degree and went on to become a Certified Public Accountant, mostly practicing in San Antonio, Texas where he had his own accounting and tax firm.
Roberto Trevino is survived by his wife of 51 years, Esther De La Cruz de Trevino, two daughters, Rebecca Solis and Christina Macha (Scott), one son, Roberto Trevino, Jr., four grandchildren, Melissa Trevino, Isabella Solis, Victoria Macha, and William Macha, five sisters, Gloria Trevino, Magdalena Riza (Rodolfo), Rosemaria Olivarez (Abriel), Irene Casarez (Eduardo), and Rosalinda Castaneda (John), and numerous nieces and nephews.
His funeral services are under the direction of Mission Park Funeral Chapels North in San Antonio, Texas. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, beginning at 3 PM with a Rosary at 6 PM at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North, 3401 Cherry Ridge Drive, San Antonio, Texas 78230, Telephone (210) 349-1414.
Graveside services will on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at 10:30 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Texas Veterans Commission.
