Nine Eagle Pass Winn Mavericks Named to 2019 District 28-5A All-District Baseball Team

Eagle Pass C. C. Winn High School Mavericks Head Baseball Coach Heriberto Roiz announced that a total of nine Mavericks were named to the 2019 District 28-5A All-District Baseball Team by the District Head Baseball Coaches.

Seven Mavericks were named to the District 28-5A All-District Baseball First Team, including three as unanimous selections, including Jared Roiz as Second Baseman (Unanimous Selection), Frank Ballones as First Baseman (Unanimous Selection), Miguel Solis as Third Baseman (Unanimous Selection), Jorge Robledo as Pitcher, Brandon Villasenor as Pitcher, Mario Galvan as Catcher, and Jorge Romero as Shortstop.

One Maverick was named to the District 28-5A All-District Baseball Second Team in Frank Rivas as an Outfielder.

One additional Maverick was named to the Honorable Mention Team in Salvador Lara as an Outfielder.
