Bob Rogers Drive at US 277 Highway opens June 14, Megan Trail closes June 17-18
(Press Release) Effective today, June 14, 2019 at close of day Bob Rogers Drive at US Highway 277 in Eagle Pass will reopen to the traveling public.
On Monday or Tuesday, June 17-18-, 2019, Megan Trail at US Highway 277 will close to the traveling public for continued construction of the US 277 Urban project currently under construction by Reece Albert, Inc. Construction will consist of soil excavation work, removal of rock and installation of new storm sewer. Motorists are urged to plan their trip accordingly and prepare for travel delays.
Megan Trail traffic will be rerouted to Bob Rogers Drive for continued passage to the Eagle Pass medical district and other businesses.
The traveling public should follow all safety signs and traffic control devices while driving slow with extreme through the work zone.
These aforementioned detours and construction work are part of the US 277 (Main Street) urban project between State Loop 480 and BU 277N (Veterans Boulevard) in Eagle Pass/Maverick County.
