Ancira Eagle Pass Ford Mercury celebrates 10th anniversary

Ancira Eagle Pass Ford Mercury celebrated its 10th Anniversary in business in Eagle Pass, Texas on Friday, April 1, 2011, with a special appearance by Ernesto Ancira, Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer of Ancira Automotive Group, of San Antonio, Texas.

Over 100 guests, business and civic leaders, and public dignitaries attended the Ancira Eagle Pass Ford Mercury 10th Anniversary celebration, sponsored by the Eagle Pass Chamber of Commerce.

First National Bank Senior Vice-President Humberto Garza was the Master of Ceremony, who welcomed the guests and presided over the event.

Father James Loiacono, O.M.I., of Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church presented an invocation and blessed the building with holy water.

Eagle Pass Mayor Ramsey English Cantu presented Ernesto Ancira, Jr. with a proclamation from the City of Eagle Pass congratulating Ancira Eagle Pass Ford Mercury on its 10th Anniversary.

Maverick County Judge David Saucedo and maverick County Precinct 2 Commissioner Rudy Heredia presented Ernesto Ancira with a proclamation honoring Ancira Eagle Pass Ford Mercury on its 10th Anniversary.

Ernesto Ancira, Jr., thanked the community of Eagle Pass and Middle Rio Grande region for their support and loyalty to Ancira Eagle Pass Ford Mercury during the past 10 years. Ancira also thanked his employees and staff at Ancira Eagle Pass Ford Mercury for their outstanding commitment and dedication to servicing the new and used automotive needs of Eagle Pass, Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico, and the Middle Rio Grande region.

Ancira also commended General Manager and Vice-President Werner Johnson and his wife, Luchia Johnson, for their excellent leadership and management of Ancira Eagle Pass Ford Mercury.

Ancira announced that Ancira Automotive Group plans to open a Chrysler-Dodge dealership in Eagle Pass within a year as well as another dealership to be named.

Ancira also stated he looks forward to the next 10 years of business in Eagle Pass and the continued support of the community.
