KEPS-KINL to be sold to Mexican Investors
Eagle Pass radio stations KEPS and KINL owner, Rhattigan Broadcasting (Texas), L.P., has filed an application with the Federal Communications Commission in Washington, D.C., on June 24, 2011, for consent to assign the licenses of FM Station KINL and AM Station KEPS to MB Revolution, L.L.C.
MB Revolution, L.L.C. is owned by the Roberto Gonzalez Revocable Living Trust, which is owned by Mexican investor Roberto Gonzalez of Coahuila, Mexico. MB Revolution, L.L.C. has its address at 401 Far Hills Drive, Del Rio, Texas.
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) must approve the sale-purchase agreement between Rhattigan Broadcasting (Texas), L.P. and MB Resolution, L.L.C.
In addition to purchasing KEPS and KINL, MB Resolution, L.L.C. is also seeking to receive consent from the FCC to purchase three radio stations in Uvalde, Texas from Rhattigan Broadcasting (Texas), L.P.
The reported sale price of the five radio stations owned by Rhattigan Broadcasting (Texas), L.P. is $2.1 million.
Anyone wishing to review the sale-purchase documents may visit the offices of KEPS-KINL Radio Stations located at 127 Kilowatt Drive in Eagle Pass as they are available for public inspection pursuant to FFC regulations.
