Farias and Duran register for re-election to the Maverick County Hospital District Board of Directors

       Current Maverick County Hospital District Chairman Juan Manuel “Chuco” Farias and Board Member Humberto Duran registered Friday, July 20, 2012, for re-election to the Maverick County Hospital District Board of Directors at 9 a.m. Both Farias and Duran are seeking another four year term to continue the progressive advancements of health care services to the residents of Maverick County.

      A third Board of Director position is up for election currently held by Dr. Carlos E. Hernandez, who has not yet indicated if he is going to seek re-election or not. The candidate registration period opened July 20th and runs through August 20th. Anyone interested in registering for any of the three positions up for election may pick up an application from Margarita De La Cruz at the Maverick County Hospital District office located at 3406 Bob Rogers Drive in Eagle Pass, Texas.

      The other two Board of Directors positions that are not up for re-election this year are held by Joaquin L. Rodriguez and Rito Valdez III.
