Included will be representatives from the Texas Workforce Commission, UTSA’s Institute for Economic Development, UTSA’s center for Urban & Regional Planning Research, and members of the Oil & Gas Industry.
Speakers will include Dr. Thomas Tunstall, PhD, Director for the Center for Community & Business Research, who will provide an overview of the Economic Impact Study that was released in May, and Dr. Azza Kamal, PhD, lecturer in the College of Architecture, who will provide information on the Housing Study that focused on Zavala, Dimmit, LaSalle, Frio, and Webb counties, which was released in July.
The Pan American Event Center is located at 3421 Highway 85. There will be no fee for attendance, but a response will be required for seating and meal arrangements.
Small Business owners will be able to have exhibit space with no charge. However, they need to call the chamber office to reserve a space, and they will need to provide their own table. Please contact the Chamber office at (830)876-5205.
