Jail Break in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico at U.S.-Mexico Border

According to Mexican news reports, there has been a jail break in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico this afternoon, Monday, September 17, 2012, on the U.S.-Mexico border, directly across Eagle Pass, Texas.
Mexican state and federal police and military have been mobilized to secure the CERESO prison in Piedras Negras, Coahuila as well attempt to round up prisoners which have escaped.
Eagle Pass Police Chief Juan Antonio Castaneda confirmed the jail break to the Eagle Pass Business Journal.
Eagle Pass Police Chief Juan Antonio Castaneda stated that Mexican authorities will be dealing with the situation and will be notifying their American counterparts on any further developments.
Mexican press reports estimate that over 100 prisoners escaped.
