2012 District 29-5A All-District Volleyball Team announced, Lady Eagle Aiden Garcia named MVP

The 2012 District 29-5A All-District Volleyball Team honors were announced by Eagle Pass High School Lady Eagles Head Coach Lucy Hooper-Gloria and C.C. Winn High School Lady Mavericks Head Coach Corina Benavidez.

Lady Eagles standout middle blocker Aiden Garcia was named the District 29-5A Most Valuable Player for the third consecutive year capping a brilliant high school volleyball career and leading to Garcia’s signing a letter of intent to play collegiate volleyball at Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire.

Also named to the All-District Volleyball Team are Lady Eagle Lynced Torres as Co-Libero of the Year, Lady Eagle Lauren McGehee as First Team, Lady Maverick Caridad Garcia as First Team, Lady Eagle Jamie Donley as Second Team, Lady Eagle Karina Yebra as Second Team, Lady Maverick Jennifer Rodriguez as Second Team, Lady Eagle Riane Garcia as Honorable Mention Team, Lady Eagle Camille Piña as Honorable Mention Team, and Lady Maverick Priscilla Perez as Honorable Mention Team.

Named to the District 29-5A All-Academic Team are Lady Eagles Aiden Garcia, Lauren McGehee, Lynced Torres, Jamie Donley, Camille Piña, Karina Yebra, and Amanda Gonzalez.
