Ancira Enterprises celebrates groundbreaking on two automotive dealerships

Ancira Enterprises celebrated the groundbreaking for two new automotive dealerships in Eagle Pass on Wednesday, December 4, 2012, at 4039 Adams Circle adjacent to U.S. Highway 57 amidst a large crowd of local business and civic leaders.

Ernesto Ancira, Jr., Chairman of Ancira Enterprises in San Antonio, Texas, personally attended the groundbreaking ceremony and stated that he is pleased to invest in Eagle Pass as Maverick Countians have been very supportive of his first dealership, Ancira Ford-Mercury of Eagle Pass.

The new location will house a totally new dealership for Ancira Ford-Mercury of Eagle Pass and the new Ancira Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership in Eagle Pass. When completed, both Ancira Enterprises dealerships will employ over 50 Eagle Passans and generate significant economic development and sales taxes to the community.

Ancira Ford-Mercury of Eagle Pass Vice-President and General Manager Werner Johnson stated he is very pleased and excited with the construction of two new automotive dealerships in Eagle Pass. Johnson added the two new dealerships will offer the latest technology and automobiles for customers. Johnson further stated the two new Ancira Automotive dealerships represents a multi-million dollar investment in Maverick County.

After the groundbreaking ceremony, refreshments and hor’s D voures were served to guests.
