Nominations Deadline for 19th Annual Eagle Pass Business Journal Awards is December 31st

Eagle Pass Business Journal Publisher Ricardo E. Calderon announced that the deadline for the public to submit nominations to any of the 18 awards categories to the 19th Annual Eagle Pass Business Journal Awards is Monday, December 31, 2012.

A nomination form is available inside this issue of the Eagle Pass Business Journal and at the offices of the Eagle Pass Business Journal at 438 North Monroe Street in Eagle Pass.

The 18 awards categories include the Employee of the Year, the Secretary of the Year, the Restaurant of the Year, the Small Business of the Year, the Teacher of the Year, the Professional of the Year, the Entrepreneur of the Year, the Physician of the Year, the Health Care Provider of the Year, the International Business of the Year, the Big Business of the Year, the Business Manager of the Year, the Public Manager of the Year, and the Public Representative of the Year. In addition, nominations for the Lifetime Achievement Award are welcomed.

“The Eagle Pass Business Journal Awards have grown into the most prestigious community awards in the Texas Middle Rio Grande region,” said Calderon. “Nominations for any person, business, entity, organization, or non-profit group from within the Middle Rio Grande region as well as Eagle Pass are always encouraged and welcomed,” Calderon added. Past award recipients have come from Dimmit, Zavala, Val Verde, and Maverick Counties. “The Eagle Pass Business Journal Awards annually draws participants and attendees from out-of-town and out-of- state,” Calderon said.

The 19th Annual Eagle Pass Business Journal Awards will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2013, at 7:30 p.m. at the Residencial Reception Hall in Eagle Pass.
