10 Candidates apply for C.C. Winn High School Football Coach position

Eagle Pass Independent School District (EPISD) Human Resources Director, Jesus Arturo Costilla announced that a total of 10 candidates have applied to the vacant C.C. Winn High School Head Football Coach position after the district reassigned former Head Football Coach George Ruiz on January 8, 2013. Ruiz was head of the C.C. Winn Mavericks football program for four years posting a 9 win and 31 loss record.

The 10 candidates who applied for the C.C. Winn Mavericks Head Football Coach position include Richard Alaniz, Paul Leslie Beattie, Albert L. Byrom, Cesar De Los Santos, Mark A. De Hoyos, Ross E. Moore, Lamar Rodriguez, Jr., John Torres, Eric Z. Villasenor, and Jesus A. Villasenor.

Costilla stated that EPISD would commence interviewing the 10 applicants on Monday, February 4th, to present a finalist to the EPISD School Board at their regular meeting scheduled on Tuesday, February 12th.
