293rd Judicial District Attorney Roberto “Bobby” Serna sworn-in to new term

293rd Judicial District Attorney Roberto “Bobby” Serna was officially sworn-in to a new four year term after winning re-election unopposed on Tuesday, January 1, 2013, in a ceremony presided by 293rd Judicial District Judge Cynthia Muniz at the Maverick County Courthouse in Eagle Pass and fellow colleague Jad P. Harper administered the oath of office to Serna.
“I like to thank the voters of Maverick, Dimmit, and Zavala Counties for bestowing upon me the privilege and honor to serve them another four year term as their state District Attorney. I have enjoyed serving the citizens of the 293rd Judicial District for the past 22 years as their District Attorney and look forward to doing so again for four more years,” said District Attorney Serna.
Accompanying Serna at the historic ceremony were his lovely wife, Norma, his father, retired Zavala County Sheriff Jose Serna, his brother, Zavala County Attorney Eduardo Serna and his family, other family members, friends, and supporters.
Following the ceremony, District Attorney Roberto “Bobby” Serna and his family and guests enjoyed a reception with refreshments and hor’s d voures.
