First Annual International Art Gala to be held on February 2nd

The Molcajete Group will be hosting the First Annual Art Gala and Wine and Cheese on February 2, 2013, at 7 p.m. at the City of Eagle Pass International Center for Trade in Eagle Pass, announced Cathy Castañeda, Founder of The Molcajete Group.
The event will host eight artists from Eagle Pass and surrounding area, including Mexico. Featured artists who will be exhibiting their art work include international reknowned artist Bob Butler from Eagle Pass, Bob Castillo of San Antonio, Cecilia Veliz of San Antonio, Marcos Mares of Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico, Margarita Berchleman of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico Luisa Santleiben Harper of Torreon, Coahuila and Eagle Pass, Ron Castle of Del Rio, and Gaby Valdez of Eagle Pass.
“We will also be showcasing professional dance performances by Compania de Flamenco Viviana Villarreal and a Bachata dance performance by Billy Legendz Dance Studio for all to enjoy. The wine and cheese tasting will be hosted by the Val Verde Winery of Del Rio, and the delicious hors d’oeuvres will be presented by Mia’s catering of Eagle Pass. We encourage everyone to join us for an evening of celebrating the beauty of the art culture,” Cathy Castaneda said.
“The night will be topped off by a silent auction that will benefit Project Companion a non-profit organization, that oversees the better treatment of pets in the community. Part of the proceeds from the silent auction will be donated to this worthy cause,” Castaneda stated.
