Home Burglary suspect arrested by Eagle Pass Police Department

Eagle Pass Police Chief Juan Antonio ‘Tony’ Castaneda announced that two Eagle Pass Police Department officers, Jose Huerta and Joel Perez, arrested a home burglary suspect, Jesus Manuel Pargas, age 24, on Friday, January 18, 2012, together with Texas Department of Public Safety officers.
Police Chief Castaneda stated Pargas was arrested as a suspect in a home burglary arising on January 2, 2013, in Eagle Pass where approximately $6,000 in jewelry was stolen. Officers Huerta and Perez investigated the burglary and arrested Pargas.
Pargas was also wanted on a federal warrant of arrest for violating his community supervision (probation) stemming from a drug trafficking offense in federal court.
