Maverick County Constable for Precinct Two Jaime Salvador “Chava” Rios, Jr. was officially sworn-in to a new four year term after winning re-election on Tuesday, January 1, 2013, at 4 p.m. by Maverick County Judge David Saucedo in a ceremony celebrated at the Old Maverick County Courthouse in Eagle Pass.
“Thank you to all the voters of Precinct Two who deposited their trust in my service as their Constable during the past four years. I look forward to working with all Maverick County officials, including newly-elected Sheriff Tom Schmerber to providing safety and peace to all Maverick County residents,” said Constable Rios.
