State Commission on Judicial Conduct suspends Justice of the Peace Cesar Perez

The State Commission on Judicial Conduct of Austin, Texas has issued a letter to Maverick County Judge David Saucedo advising him that Maverick County Justice of the Peace Precinct 2 Cesar Perez is temporarily suspended without pay from his judicial duties pending the final disposition of the criminal case filed against him by the State of Texas on December 14, 2012, charging him with engaging in an organized criminal activity and theft by a public servant. County Judge Saucedo received the State Commission on Judicial Conduct letter on Wednesday, January 16, 2013.
Justice of the Peace Precinct 2 Cesar Perez was advised of his temporary suspension by the State Commission on Judicial Conduct.
Maverick County Commissioners Court may have to appoint a temporary Justice of the Peace for Precinct 2 at its next Commissioners Court meeting to handle the duties of this judicial position..
