Maverick County Hospital District Board of Directors approves Motion for Rehearing of Texas Railroad Commission permit for coal mine

The Maverick County Hospital District Board of Directors approved unanimously a Motion for Rehearing of the Railroad Commission of Texas’ decision to grant Dos Republicas Coal Partnership’s application to renew, revise, and expand Permit 42-A, Eagle Pass Mine, on January 29, 2013, at a special meeting held on Monday, February 11, 2013, at 12 Noon at the Hospital District’s conference room.
Board of Director Humberto Duran made the motion to approve the filing of a Motion for Rehearing with the Texas Railroad Commission to reconsider its granting Dos Republicas Coal Partnership application to renew, revise, and expand Permit 42-A, Eagle Pass Mine and seconded by Board member Ricardo E. Calderon and approved unanimously by Chairman J.M. “Chuco” Fsrias, Vice-President Rito Valdez, III, Secretary-Treasurer Humberto Duran, and Board member Ricardo E. Calderon. Board member Joaquin L. Rodriguez was absent.
