Eagle Pass City Council to interview City Manager finalists

The City of Eagle Pass City Council is having a special meeting on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. to interview the eight finalists for the vacant City Manager position, which is currently held by Interim City Manager Gloria I. Martinez-Barrientos.

The Eagle Pass City Council special meeting will be held at the Adelina Roman Conference Room at the Eagle Pass City Hall, located at 100 S. Monroe Street, Eagle Pass, Texas.

The eight finalists selected for interviews are Michael Lloyd Ezzel, Alan Grindstaff, Patrick B. Howard, Gloria I. Martinez-Barrientos, Arthur F. Prida, Oscar Eric Ramirez, Jesus Sanchez, and Gary Dumas.

The March 5th special meeting notice does not indicate an open session action item regarding the selection of a City Manager. It appears the special meeting is limited to interviewing the eight finalists for City Manager only.

Former Eagle Pass City Manager resigned to accept the City of San Angelo, Texas City Manager position. Assistant City Manager Gloria I. Martinez-Barrientos was appointed as Interim City Manager by the Eagle Pass City Council until a new City Manager is selected.
