State District Judge Dick Alcala has scheduled a Court Hearing for Friday, March 8, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the Old Maverick County Courthouse, 501 E. Main Street, in Eagle Pass, Texas regarding the State of Texas petition of removal against Maverick County Commissioners Eliaz Maldonado and Rodolfo “Rudy” Heredia and the conflicting appointment by Maverick County Judge David Saucedo of local businessman Jerry Morales as County Commissioner of Precinct 1 on Monday, March 4th, contradicting District Judge Alcala’s February 11th Order temporarily suspending Commissioners Maldonado and Heredia and appointment of local businessman Javier Libson and news journalist Daniela Flores-Aleman as interim County Commissioners.
