Lady Eagles blank Edinburg Vela 10-0 in second game to clinch Bi-District Championship

The Eagle Pass High School Lady Eagles blanked the District 30-5A Edinburg Vela High School Lady Saber Cats by a score of 10 to 0 in game two of the best of three playoff series on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at the Laredo Independent School District Zachry Softball Complex in Laredo, Texas, clinching the 2013 Bi-District Championship sweeping the Lady Saber Cats in two consecutive games. The Lady Eagles now advance to the Area Championship next week against the winner of Brownsville Porter High School Lady Cowgirls and the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North High School Lady Raiders.
