Two bombs exploded today, April 15, 2013, near the finish line of the Boston Marathon at approximately 2:45 p.m. E.S.T. killing three people and injuring at least another 128 persons surprising marathon runners, marathon administrators, fans, and law enforcement personnel near the blasts.
It is unknown as of now who is responsible for planning and planting these large bombs near the finish line at the Boston Marathon. The Massachusetts National Guard has been called into service to assist the Boston Police Department, state and federal investigators investigate the two bomb explosions and evacuate the bomb area.
The surprise bomb attack at the Boston Marathon today has shocked the nation reminding us of the dangerous and fragile world we live in today.
