Mayor Ramsey English Cantu easily wins re-election, Rudy Villalpando and Luis E. Sifuentes re-elected unopposed

City of Eagle Pass, Texas incumbent Mayor Ramsey English Cantu easily won re-election to a full four year term crushing Challenger Saul Fernandez with 2,102 (71%) of the overall votes compared to Fernandez’s paltry 877 (29%) of the overall votes in the May 11, 2013 City General Election.
Mayor Ramsey English Cantu thanked the citizens and voters of the City of Eagle Pass for their trust and confidence in his public service and leadership of this U.S.-Mexico border city and congratulated his opponent, Saul Fernandez, for having the courage and desire to participate in the democratic political process of the City of Eagle Pass.
Incumbent City Councilmen Rudy Villalpando of Place 1 and Luis E. Sifuentes were also re-elected to a new four year term unopposed with Villalpando receiving a total of 2,004 overall votes while Sifuentes received a total of 2018 overall votes.
Mayor Ramsey English Cantu looks forward to serving the citizens of Eagle Pass for the next four years and continue its development and growth in the future.
