Mayor Ramsey English Cantu enjoys huge lead over Challenger Saul Fernandez in Early Voting

Incumbent Mayor Ramsey English Cantu enjoys a huge lead over Challenger Saul Fernandez in the Early Voting results announced in the contested race for Mayor of the City of Eagle Pass, Texas in the May 11, 2013 City General Election.
Mayor Ramsey English Cantu received a total of 1,619 Early Voting votes (72.41%) compared to the paltry 617 votes garnered by Challenger Saul Fernandez (27.59%), taking an insurmountable 1,002 votes lead going into the General Election Day votes remaining to be counted later this evening by City of Eagle Pass Election Officials.
Incumbent and unopposed City Councilman for Place 1 Rudy Villalpando received 1,441 Early Voting votes while Incumbent and unopposed City Councilman for Place 4 Luis E. Sifuentes received 1,450 Early Voting votes. Both Villalpando and Sifuentes are guaranteed to win because they are unopposed.
