Travis County District Judge dismisses EPISD Injunction lawsuit

A Travis County District Judge in Austin, Texas has dismissed (denied) the Eagle Pass Independent School District’s Application for an Injunction against the University Interscholastic League to reverse its decision limiting the Eagle Pass Lady Eagles Regional Quarter-Finals Championship against the San Benito Lady Hounds to a one game series instead of best of three on Friday, May 17, 2013, ending the Lady Eagles season.
The San Benito Lady Hounds are now set to play this evening against the San Antonio O’Connor Lady Panthers at 7:30 p.m, in Corpus Christi, Texas in the Regional Semi-Finals Championship for Region IV in a one game playoff series.
