Maverick County Judge David Saucedo to appoint County Commissioner for Precinct 2

Maverick County Judge David Saucedo has called a press conference for today, Friday, June 7, 2013 at 4:00 p.m.at the County Commissioners Courtroom to announce the appointment of a successor County Commissioner for Precinct 2 now that suspended County Commissioner Rudy Heredia plead guilty on Tuesday, June 4th, to federal charges of bribery, extortion, and bid rigging of Maverick County construction contracts. State District Judge Dick Alcala suspended Commissioner Rudy Heredia and appointed Daniela Flores-Aleman as temporary County Commissioner of Precinct 2. It is unknown if County Judge Saucedo will appoint Daniela Flores-Aleman, who has done an outstanding job, or someone else from Precinct 2.
