Raul & Lulu Trevino’s home burns down from lightning bolt

Raul and Lulu Trevino’s home on Butler Road in the Ricks Subdivision in Eagle Pass, Texas burned to the ground after being struck by a lightning bolt from the severe thunderstorm afflicting this U.S-Mexico border community on Friday, June 14, 2013, at approximately 11 a.m.

One neighbor complained that the Eagle Pass Fire Department took 20-25 minutes to hook up the water lines to the nearest fire hydrants allowing the fire to spread to the entire house.
