Storage Shed In Elm Creek Residence Engulfs In Flames
Maverick County Sheriff’s Office (PRESS RELEASE) – On Wednesday June 5, 2013 at around 12:19 am, Deputies responded to 3927 Clavel Street in reference to a structure fire. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with Maria Hernandez who stated that while sleeping at said residence noticed fire emitting from her back shed. Deputies noticed the structure fire down wind heading to the next door neighbors (3915 Clavel) back shed. The Eagle Pass Fire Department extinguished the fire. Deputies later made contact with Claudia Rivas at 3915 Clavel who stated that her family was outside of her residence and noticed the structure fire. It was unknown at the time of report what caused the fire. The Eagle Pass Fire Department Fire Marshals took over the investigation.
